The day starts with a sponsored walk where walkers can choose the leisurely Warwick Walk or the more difficult Challenging Walk.
The sponsored walk is split into these two walks as numbers taking part have grown so much in since the first walk it can no longer be undertaken around the hospital.
In addition, the creation of a more leisurely Warwick Walk allows those with pushchairs or mobility difficulties to join in.
The village green at the rear of the hospital then is host to an afternoon of entertainment, fun, displays where you can eat, drink and buy items from stalls held by volunteers and local businessess.
The afternoon includes a balloon release where families can purchase a balloon in remembrance of a loved one. A message is attached to the balloons and during a mass release all balloons float to the sky complete with these messages.
The afternoon has, in the past finished with a fun foam party for the kids where they can have fun and let off steam frolicking in the foam.
