Cancer Fighting Fund
We are a charity comprised of local people devoted to raising money for our local hospital to help purchase both large and small items to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and which makes life more comfortable for people diagnosed with cancer.
Cancer can be a devastating diagnosis for anyone and that is why we want to ensure that it can be detected as early as possible with the benefit of the most up-to-date systems which is why we need to raise as much money as possible.
Stride4Life is an annual fund raising event held in July where people can not only have fun, remember a loved one and celebrate a life, but raise money for their local hospital too.
We need walkers, stall holders, fund raisers or sponsorship from local business. If you think you can help, please
contact us.
All money raised is passed to the hospital - and we have managed to raise over
£90,000 since 2004 for which we would like to pass a huge
